    I had been doing some form of CrossFit for two years prior to coming to O’Hare CrossFit so I knew what I wanted when I was ready to make a change. The characteristics I looked for in a CrossFit gym can all be found at O’Hare CrossFit. They are to name a few: coaches who care about doing the movements correctly; coaches who send a consistent message; workouts that can be scaled to ANY level and ANY age group. You feel at home whether are a novice or seasoned CrossFit competitor; whether you are a teenager or retired. All are welcome and all receive the necessary coaching to improve. Learning is going on at all levels at OCF. The coaches are constantly going to clinics and seminars to bring more knowledge to their athlete members. It is a family environment where you feel a part of something great. OCF also offers additional ad hoc programs for its athlete members such as a running club and various healthy living challenges. I see improvement in myself and improvement in my CrossFit colleagues every day. I love it when I get a personal email from Angelo or Becca when they feel they haven’t seen me at the gym for a few days. OCF is COOLIO!!!

    Joining OCF was by far the best decision I have made in my 15 year fitness journey. It has changed my body and my eating habits resulting in a much healthier and confident me. Angelo, Becca and the gang are skilled coaches and the camaraderie of each class is unprecedented. The environment is as addictive as it is difficult, as uplifting as it is grueling, and most important, seriously fun. Plus, I can now pound out at least 5-8 strict pull ups in a row, when before, all I could do is just hang there like a slug.
